Talking Cape Fear River

Well, we went out today and fished eight hours for cats. Nothing.. not a single cat caught. However, we did catch lots of bream on worms and a 2.5 pound bass. lots of stick fish too. the current was strong with the cold wind. water temp 58 degrees. not many fish rolling either. Congrats to the ones who caught some cats. At the end of the day one boat (Swamp Fox and Whiskersticker) weight in some small fry channel cats and two other boats had some nice looking cats. The tourney winner had a nine 46 pder. along with some smaller ones. Maybe next time we will catch at least one cat.
