Great Weekend

[Muddy Water]

Well, this has been a great weekend. On friday, I unexpectedly tagged out on turkeys by shooting another 17 lber with a 10 inch beard. It was a fantastic unexpected hunt!

Then, on Sat. morning, I put in at County Line park on Kerr. Around 10:30 I stumbled upon a big brush pile. Fished there til 12:00 when i had to call it quits. Caught 6 nice crappie between 3/4 and 1 lb. Wish I could have fished longer. Probably could have caught more if I'd moved a little, but the wind was blowing hard enough I was afraid I'd lose the brush pile all together if I pulled up anchor.
