Harris Lake 07/13/07

Fished Harris this morning, 0530 to 1000. The herd went south towards the dam. We fished in the shadow of the cooling tower on the weedbeds in about 2-4 feet, and off a couple of points later in the morning in 6-8 feet. Caught 12 bass. Mostly on plastic but early caught three on spinnerbait and one on shallow crankbait. By 0730 only hits came on plastic. The fish were eager to eat but you had to find them first. Water clear to about three feet, overcast, air temp around 72.
