Default Jordan 5/10

We went out on the lake for some fishing on Saturday. It was quite windy, but managed to catch a half dozen stripers on a Bandit crankbait. After the wind was past, the day became slower and slower. The fish were biting our plastics, but I can never manage to pull them in. Maybe the worms (6") are too long? The fish would simply bite the tail and never fully devour them. Not only that, finding the fish has become very difficult. Since we're on a pretty slow canoe and don't have a fish finder, guessing is all we have. Any suggestions would help dearly.

Caught a few catfish and 2 carps on some cornbread dough to end the day. Heading out to Harris for the first time this weekend to try to catch some largemouth.
