Default Kerr Bad-Pond Good

Well, I tried Kerr lake from Nutbush today til 12:00 noon. Only bites I got were from a dinky little bass and a dinkier bream. Just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong for the crappie. Fishing close to shore around and amoung willows as I've been told they are pushing the banks. No luck.
....So, I grabbed Mrs. Muddy by the hand and we went to one of our favorite farm ponds this evening. The results speak for themselves. The crappie and a few of the bream were hitting curly tailed jiggs. Rest were caught on crickets. The biggest one is a bream!
