Default Kerr Lake 8-9-07

Ran up to Kerr to try some more night fishing again. Anchored up threw out the green light and waited on the shad. Had to wait a little longer to get the shad this time but man did we get some pretty ones, bad thing is we didn't draw anything big enough to eat them. Cut up the dead shad for cut bait and dropped to the bottom and caught all the small cats you could want plus a few small stripers. Only had a few hits on live shad, more than likely the small cats. Did however see something swimming around the outer edge of the light that looked about 3-4 foot long. It could have been a striper but it looked too long and slender. Does Kerr have gar that big swimming around?
