Default Lake Macintosh in June/July

Hi guys, I'm new here. This is a nice website.

I've been fishin' Lake Macintosh for a couple months mostly trying for crappie. But what I've found is great luck with the White Bass, especially about a month ago. Yesterday all I caught were a bunch of dinks. I figure most of the fish moved out deep since its well past spawn.

I'd like to try my luck at largemouth, but I don't know the lake. Currently, I am without a depth-finder, so that makes it hard because I know it is a relatively deep lake with steep dropoffs from shore.

Is anyone willing to share advice on the best approach at this lake for this time of the year?

Thanks,
Jay
