Days like today were built for fly fishing. I waded out into the Neuse river, just below Falls dam, around 3pm. The fly of choice, and by far the most productive fly that I have used in this spot to date, was the

I had a ball. I couldn't keep the bream off the line. I probably caught 30 or so sunfish of all shapes, sizes, and species. I also managed 2 keeper-size crappie and 2 *baby* largemouth bass.
