any suggestions

i wanted to head out west on wednesday to do some fly fishing for trout. Are things starting to pick up from the summer time? Well im looking for some suggestions on where to head and what to use if anybodies got one. Looking at around the tuckaseegee somewhere. PLEASE HELP
