Default Cat Tail River- Yancey county

1. Date
2. Body of Water name, Location
3. Fish type , Fly/Lure/bait

1. 11-26-05, Saturady
2. Cat tail river and above. Cat Tail is in yancey count and this was my first time their. The river has some great pools and easy acess. We also went above Cat Tail to a feeder stream. We had to ride a forstery road to the spot. Even with my 33's and 4" lift we still managed to rub a few rocks, So if you go that high up the road it gets nasty in some spots, But that was half the fun.
3. Speckal Trout. My buddy and I took turns hitting the small holes. He pulled a 8" spec out frmo under a small waterfall with a BH Hairs Ear Nymph I had tied the night before. I tried some small blue wings as well and had no luck. We were on the rivers from 2-5ish. Even tho I didnt catch any this steam was defintly one of the prettyist I have fished.
