Well, guys and gals ...

I bit the bullet and bought a nice, used Jones Brothers Bateau 176 with a 50HP Mercury 4-cycle. I have had it on the water once and it handles well, even across some chop. Spending quite a bit of time making it into "my boat", modifying it to suit me and the way I fish.

I'm looking forward to getting out on the waterway at Southport stalking some specs or into Dawson Creek looking for some reds.

Now ... for a good name for it.
