It's what Wellcraft call's it's "Tournament series" Fisherman. They stop'd making this hull model in 03, though they had very few of these carry over into the 04 season due to attrition. This is a "heavy" boat, lot's of glass and is about as solid a hull I could find for the money. Wellcraft rig'd out this boat very nicely compared to other competitor's boats on the market at the time I was shoppin.

Just happened to be in the right spot at the right time on this one... as she was a brand new 03 left over gettin ready to be taken to the boat show last December (Dec 04), she only had 2 hours on her when I bought her and I put 45 of them minutes on her during demo with the dealer at the local lake in Wilson NC. Ended up gettin in this boat at "cost".. too good a deal to pass up. Was lookin for a boat with twins, but settled on this set up,, so far so good after 118 hours in her. When I bought this boat Dec 04, I didnt get to splash her till 5 month's later until I got back from Afghanistan May 05. Once home, two weeks later trek'd this boat to SW Fla and NW Fla for 3 weeks of fishin straight!!!

Great boat for how I like to fish, I get the cabin (though small) without havin to get into the Walk-around type boat (get to keep my 360 degree fishability). We (my boy and I) overnight on the local lakes (Harris/Jordan), and with my bud's we've run her out past the 70SM mark out of Wrightsville Bch

Size 9 was given to the boat in dedication for my Papaw and his Service as a WWII vet, and to Honor all Veteran's of all War's as well. The line, "size 9" is in the movie Band of Brothers, Episode "Bastone". We proudly fly an American flag over the boats name and to the Starboard side of the E box out of respect for all our fallen Hero's.

here's the boat:
