Pflueger Maxx rod n reel combo

Has anyone tried these reels? I was looking at a combo today and for the money it looked/felt like a decent setup for $75. Rod was 7' med with light tip and good guides. I'm looking for something to add to my birthday list from my wife around $50-$80 so she can buy it for me
