Default Blewett falls lake level

I fished Blewett lake Sturday, I had not much luck all day but it was a vary nice day. The lake level was down maybe two feet but I had no problems at the ramp. Late in the day I saw a boat come down the ramp and head over to the spillway and start fishing, the boat moved around the barricade floats for the turbin intake so I thought it could be someone that worked for CP&L. I motored over to see if I could find out some local info. The man was vary talkative.
He said that his father and he used to fish Blewett and catch a limit every trip, well I allways believe a fellow fisherman. so I asked what was going on. He said that CP&L plays with the level during the spring and the bass and other fish that bed at that time of year cant lay eggs, and that there was some kind of legal action. Is there anyone who knows about this and can we (or I) get involved.
