Default catfish and crappies on flies

boss talked me into going to lake rhodhiss, one of the first lakes on the catawba chain and fish for crappies. have to admit i am not much of a lake fisherman, but i wont turn down a chance to fish. wound up catching everything , crappie, white and yellow perch, channel cats, bullheads, a couple of largemouths and tried to fish several schools of stripers that were running schools of shad up into the coves. have to admit it's kind of hard casting a flyrod off an 18 ft. nitro, but the guy didn't seem to mind, he says he's going to try this " flyrod thing" crappies loved the black and white clousers but i was surprised that the cats hit a big wooly booger with a gold propeller that I was tring to trick the largemouths into eating. only bad part was the horrible sunburn on the bald head.
