Default Julianne's first bass.

This is a bit of a late report. I took my youngest daughter and son fishing last Friday at a pond on Lejeune. My daughters birthday was Saturday and she loves fishing, so I was praying for her to catch atleast a small bream. I saw some beds around the bank and rigged her up with a 3 inch senko. I started casting it out for her and trying to hook one for her. I threw to the same fish for about 10 minutes and finally it took it. After the strike it jumped about 3 times and I handed the pole to her to let her reel it in. After a minute of adjusting the drag for her she finally got it in. It was about a 9 inch bass, but her first and she was very proud, as I was of her.

We were going to leave directly after to go to my mom and dad's in Coats for her B-day party but my son protested and said we couldn't leave until we caught him one. I tried and tried but the fish would just stare at the senko and then swim off. I think the bass fishing here on the coast is going to get really hot here in the next few weeks. I have pics and will post them tomorrow.

Jeremy
