Default Lake Keist/Mott Bass

Hello, everybody.

This is my first time posting. Thanks, first of all, to everyone for providing such a great resource.

I'm new to the area and do not have a good feel yet for how the fish behave.

Lake Keist and Lake Mott on Fort Bragg are very convenient to my location and I would like to get proficient at fishing for Bass in them. I've been to both locations several times now and haven't had any luck whatsoever.

Specific to these lakes, what times of day are best? What baits/lures are working this time of year? Tactics? I have a canoe if that will help my chances.

Greatly appreciate the help.
