 Last Cast 6/2 Durant Nature Park Raleigh
I went fishing with my brother and kids for my Birthdayafter dinner tonight at Durant Nature Park. No bites all evening being out for almost 2 hours; and just before dark my 9 year old son was making that last second cast as we were packing it up for the night and calling him to go.
He caught about an 18 inch largemouth/3 lbs with a Texas Rig (7 inch purple). Nice fight. It was a great Birthday present for me to see my son catch a nice sized LM. Of course my brother and I were jealous...
