Default Tillery, 5-21-07

Went back to Tillery yesterday morning and got several more blue cats. It was a nice morning on the water. I got some that weighed in the teens and one decent fish that went 26 lbs. All of the fish were released to fight another day. FYI, there has been discussion between catfish club members and NC wildlife biologist about putting some regulations on blue cats in the future on certain lakes . There's not a lot of details yet and still some studies to be done. This topic will probably come up at NCWRC public meetings next year. I hope there is a lot of support for the regulations. It would probably be something like only keeping one fish over 32 inches.
