Where to fish around Charlotte

I moved to Charlotte about 3 years ago, before that I fished quite frequently. I have not fished till last weekend and remembered how fun it was. Bad thing is, I really don't know where to go to fish around here. I live in Union County, but haven't really seen lakes or ponds or streams to go fish at. Anyone have any advice? I like to fish it all, streams to lakes. Thanks for the help,
