Fishing & Kayaking suggestions near Corolla

I will spend a week in Corolla during mid August and need some suggestions. I am interested in a half day trip for a group of 4 or 5 non fisherman types. I am also interested in pier or bay fishing for my self. Also any references to captains, head boats and a kayaking outfitter would be appreciated.
