Johnnie Mercer's Pier

Was there on OCT 1 and watched one guy reel in a king sometime in the afternoon. Weighed in at 28lbs bringing it in with a bluefish, appreantly this wasnt the first of the day, there was one caught earlier that day, however I wasnt there. Over hearing some of the regulars there it appears they had a good weekend. Blues and Spanish were also very active for those who plan on pier fishing other then kings.
