Default Myrtle Beach vacation fishing

The vacation ended yesterday at MB. I got to pier fish twice before the winds came in pretty strong but had no luck catching anything due I guess to the combination of the weather and the fact that its still early for fall pier fishing. The fishing at MB this past week was pretty much awful. The only neat thing I experienced was watching and meeting a colorful man who was finger mullet netting three consecutive nights at the pier. He filled up 2 five gallon buckets with finger mullet in about 2 hours one night and on one cast he caught more larger mullet than anyone caught on a rod the whole evening. Next year I'll change the vacation date to October.
