Default New Catching Report

Hey everyone,

Hope everyone had a good Monday. I had an AWESOME one. I ventured out of Johnston County down to Topsail on Mon. morning. Arrived at around 12:30 or so. I went over to the Seaview Pier to see what was going on. I walked out onto the pier, I noticed people were catching blues and various other bottom feeder. I decided that i was going to fish there. I went out with some fresh NC shrimp, and casted away. Caught a couple of small mullet. After being there about 1.5 hrs, someone caught a redfish that was 21 inches long. Nice fish. Not more than 45 min. later I caught my own redfish that was 26 3/4 inches long. Funny thing is i was casting into the wind at the end of the pier. (no king fishermen there) I also caught some keeper Flounder. So needless to say I had a wonderful trip to Seaview and to Topsail.
