Default Oak Island weds. night

Ran down to Oak Island Weds. night to see if the mullet were still biting like they were 2 weeks ago when I was last down there. Ended up catching a few mullet, but the croakers were so thick you would either catch one or have to rebait your hook on every cast. Fished from a little after 11pm to almost 3 am when a light rain chased my Dad and I back to the motel room. The only downside, if catching fish nonstop has a downside, is just about all of the croakers were 3 inches long. I did hook a good sized skate that came off before it made it up to the pier planks. That sucker felt like a monster after all those little croaker.
