 Ocracoke Report Went down on Wed to the south end. Fished hard from 3 pm til tide change at 11pm. Nada. Wind was blowing southwest steady at 20 gusting to 27.  Fish Thursday from 6 am til 2pm. Saw one blowtoad, 1 43"x30' red and a couple of small blues. No bait in the water and water temp between 54 to 58. Got to get between 58 to 62 for consistent action. Will report the new Daiwa Saltist 20H is one smooth slick reel. Cast like a dream and retrieve is melted butter smooth.      |
