Default This year's goal...Pompano!

I have decided that this year I will take along with me a light tackle set for Pompano. I know some areas where the sand fleas live and where there are a lot of shells. I usually target anything but I want to eat one those buggers so bad I can't stand it-haven't had the pleasure yet. Can I expect to catch them all summer long? I have only caught one since I started to fish as a hobby-gave it away.

Do we have a lot around Topsail Island area? I plan on using two rods, one for anything baited with shrimp/cut bait and my light set up with fleas.

What should I expect?

Thanks everyone!
