Default Bait in The Pamlico River

On Sunday i took my son and grandson fishing for stripers on the Pamlico river, We started out Sunday moning around 8am an man i could not belive the bait that was in the river, we would be fishing and watching the bait come at us and all of a sudden the water would come alive with 10 to 12in. stripers busting bait this would last for 3 to 5 min. of pure bait busting excitment, this lasted till about 12:00 noon, we caught 11 stripers all together, sizes from 10 to 20 ins. i'll post pictues later. Guys i've seen this on the ocean but this was my first time seeing this on the river...........Chris
