Default Haw River 1-26-08 report

Since a coastal trip got fouled I spent the afternoon on the Haw probing downfalls and stumps for LM Bass. This time of year necessitates very slow action but I'm not much for dead stickin' baits so I stuck to slow rolling a 3/8 oz spinner and wound up with three that ranged from 13-16".

The only bad part about the trip is having to look at all the various forms of trash that needlessly and irresponsibly ends up in our rivers. Let's all do our part to conserve, preserve and protect our waters, eh?
