From Key West looking for a River/Creek fishing in Hendersonville

Hello All,

Family has a place in Flat Rock, and would like to try out some river fishing while visiting. My fishing knowledge stems from living in the Florida Keys, so any advice and info on this wading out into the river, mountain fishing thing would def be appreciated!! Still reading up on jigs and fish types, but most importantly, I'm not sure on where to go.
