Default new river blast part 2!

hey all
just got back from the new river a few minutes ago and couldn't wait to post our adventure from today!last week we caught 70 smallies, today we caught 84 smallmouth and 41 rock bass!we had 2 over 4 pounds, and around twelve in the 1 to 3 pound range.i lost one that rick,my cousin who was fishing about twenty feet away and got a good look at her, that must have gone five or better.but, she ran under a ledge and somehow spit the hook!boy, that almost took the lustre off my four pounder,i said almost!i tell ya guys, never seen so much smallmouth action that is going on up there.caught my first eleven on a pop r,then went to the old faithfull cut tail worm.action never slowed all day!people, now is the time!i would take someone up there with me if they would split the gas.about 2 hours from high point, and darn well worth it!
later,
jerry
