Hit the Yad with my trusty black buzzbait last Sunday. Fairly typical day with a few here and there while the sun was overhead. About 7:00 it started to pick up as expected. Caught 7 in about and hour and a half, all on the buzz bait behind sand bars, rocks and pretty much any area that allowed them to get out of the current. No size, all 10-14"' schoolie fish. You might find 3-4 in one spot, 2-3 in another. There are bigger fish in there, but for me they have been rare. I have not done the stretch from Idols Dam in Clemmons to 64. If anybody is up for a float let me know. I am hitting the stretch around I-85 near Salisbury this weekend also if anybody wants to. Havent fished that area yet. I figure there has to be a lot of schoolie fish and shad from HIgh Rock around there. J -
