Default Spinning Reel found at house

I found an old reel at the house and was just trying to figure out how old, manufacturer, etc about it. It's an open face spinning reel and on the side it says "South Bend Classic 926". It is solid metal, no plastic anywhere to be found. Will post a pic eventually if I can get the phone to work right.
