I need ya'lls "expert" opinions

I picked up an 18' center console a few weeks ago and am looking to put as good a trolling motor and fish finder/gps as I can afford. Looking to spend around (hopefully less than) $700 on the trolling motor and around $500-$600 on the fish finder/gps. My wife found a hummingbird online last night for around $350 (with specials), but I have no idea about these units. Thinking about the Motor Guide remote trolling motor, but open to opinions. I have no idea about the fish finder/gps unit. Looking for advice/opions/experience with this. Thanks in advance for responces.
