Default St Croix rod worth repairing?

I have an OLD ST CROIX Deep Sea rod #1136 RT 6.6 ft.
I picked up for free. The rod wrap on all of the guides is rotten and the roller tip is loose and bent, other guides are in good shape with no corrosion to speak of... Wood is in good shape just needs refinishing. I've had this thing around for a few years and have done nothing with it.....
Is this rod worth having all of the guides redone? I know ST Croix makes quality rods, but with the age I didn't know if it was worth it.
