Thumbs up trolling and controlled drifting big fish

anyone want to talk about controlled drifting and trolling? I have been fishing catfish with planer bobbers and am having good catches moving slowly all the time instead of bottom fishing. Castable planer bobbers keep our lines spread way out to the sides and slip down to the last swivel when a fish strikes - we keep trying new things all the time like two live baits one each planer bobber and different depths. the live bait got some bass and some crappie to add to the mix. but the size of our catfish got pretty good too. yea we still get some dinks too. I try to get out once a week to fish - the catkiller
