Default What kind of knot do you use?

I remember as a kid just tying four or five knots (granny knots) and having this long knot section tied onto the hook. One of my uncles showed me how to tie a knot. He called it a fisherman's knot. Just curious to what kind of knot you tie and where you first learned how to tie? Who taught you how? Also if there a various knots, do you have links to them or diagrams? Are there different knots and do you use various one's when fishing? I in return showed my other two cousins and they still bring it up to me today, that I was the first to show them how to tie a fisherman's knot and how to fry a egg up for a egg sandwich. That is another story

Be Blessed, Mike
