Default The Dan River, Caswell County

There is a ramp located at the NC/VA (Milton, NC) border. I would imagine it is not safe for anything that has any kind of draft to use. I would not attempt it with anything larger than a jonboat personally. I have not launched at this location due to the size of my vessel. The water can be moving pretty fast at times. The ramp is nice though.

Directions:

From intersection of NC62 and NC158 in Yanceyville, travel NC62 north 13 miles to stop light in Milton, turn left and cross bridge. The area is on the left.
