The Smith's Creek Ramp is maintained by the Wildlife Resources Commission. In the town limits of Oriental, travel east on NC 55, turn right on Hughes Street one block before crossing the NC 55 high rise bridge. From Hughes Street, travel one block and turn left on Midyette Street and proceed one block to area. The ramp will accommodate motor and sail boats of good size and includes two ramps.
