Wanna Go Fishing

I was just watching ESPN and see that they have started what they call the "Wanna Go Fishing Movement" . Personally this is one of the greatest things that anyone has come up with to promote. If you haven't seen the show the theme is that they find some unsuspecting average Joe and invite them to drop everything and go on some amazing fishing trips with the Show Host and ESPN Camera crews.

"WHAT IS THE WANNA GO FISHING MOVEMENT? Your task is to find someone special and take them fishing (on-the- spot). While taking them fishing, we encourage you to instill in them a desire to pass along the favor, by taking someone fishing themselves"

I have invited folks along with me that I had never met before and they have turned out to be some of my greatest friends. Also, when we began to develop the idea of the Fayetteville Area Angler's Network the underlying cause of the club is to promote fishing by bringing people to fishing that might not otherwise have or have taken the opportunity to be involved in different types of fishing. Along the way we have made a lot of great friends. Already our club numbers nearly 60 friends and we hope that we will have many more in the future.

I'm going to throw the Challenge out right here for anyone who reads this thread to participate in the movement, go to the site below and submit the info from your trip, then post your pics and a story about your trip to this thread. I think that you'll have some great fun and develop some awesome relationships.
