buddy boat nearshore trip

I am itching to go to the near shore AR's out of shallotte inlet or lockwood folly. I have a new boat and dont have my radio and or depth finder installed yet so a buddy boat is the safe option I think. Any one up for some bottom fishing out there or cruising for specks shoot me a reply... I am off work thursday and maybe friday from work. If the wind and waves lay down of course...
