Default surf reels used in the boat

Folks,
I have some very nice surf reels such as Diawa Emblem Pro 5500. I have a Shimano Thunnus 6000F also and a few others not worth mentioning. I want to use these reels on 7' spinning rods in the boat for medium-tackle action. I have found Diawa Beefstick 7' with gimbal for $18 each at Boatersland.com. I have found Penn Slammers 7' with gimbal for $40 from Cabelas. I have found Whuppin Stick Salt 7' with gimbal for $40 from Cabelas. I have found Penn Power Stick 7' for $50 from Cabelas. Any comments???
