The Japanese fishing industry recently had their annual expo. The hot new item in the freestyle jigging area is these squid teasers on a weighted body. These are being made to target bottom fish, grouper, snapper etc. The amazing thing to me is how small the hooks are on these for that type of fishing - they are like a 1/0 or #1. I was able to get some samples, a few are shown below. Can't wait to get them out in the ocean & try 'em on some grouper!
