Texas Lake

I took a buddy of mine out to texas lake last friday. I never hear too much about it but didnt feel like driving all over gods creation to hit the water. We put the boat in around 3 pm I fished the grass beds with a tomato colored worm and to my amazement landed 6 bass within an hour and a half.... maybe 2. The smallest one was around 2 1/2 lbs. I lost a monster when he snapped my line. I would honestly have to estimate he was a 6-8 pounder. After the rant of cuss words (I had no idea my vocabulary contained so many), I composed myself and fished till dark hookin em' almost all the way back to the boat ramp (I switched to a purple/black worm as it got dark). Just thought I'd put the word out I hope you guys can have as much fus as I did. I released everything, one still has a worm in his mouth...
