Default Tips for fishing summer crappie

I'm headed out with this weekend probably with "Hemi" if he is still up for it. I trying to catch a few crappie, and was wondering if any of you had any old school tips you could offer.

I usually use boppers and minows about a 6 inches to a foot off the bottom or a tube jig on a bopper, and twitch or vibrate the **** out of it.

Also the area that I am fishing is next to a small dam. Surrounded my brush trees, and falling logs. I stuck my paddle (stick lol) down the other day and the water seem to be between 3 to 6 foot deep.

So hopefully if I can get a few tips from and can make scream uncle this weekend.
