what a great weekend!

well i had a 4 day weekend and i head home for the hoilday to see familt and to due some fishing in the jacksonville/richlands area! i went fishing friday throw monday and i had a blast doing it! to start my weekend off right i went to one of my old high school fishing spots to see if anything was going on in my good ole honey hole! and boy was i right! on my second cast i caught a nice size bass! then on saturday i headed down to queens creek in swansboro NC to fish with some of the guys from NC angler that live in that area! scott hobbs took me out on boat and we meet up with mindfusion, 'Bout Time, jimbeamii, NCPIERMAN, Mofish and dragula6500 and his family! what a great bunch of guys to have a chance to hang out with and go fishing! well me and scott headed to marker 51 where we saw some action with the finger mullets by the greaa beds! i caught 2 lizard fish and a 12 inch flounder

and scott caught a nice 19 1/2 inch red! then we headed into the queens creek to hunt some more reds! scott landed a scott red right by this old boat dock! then right after that i landed a nice size flounder that got off the hook right as i was pulling him into the boat! then we went right across from tim(NCpierman) on the other side of a sand bar and i landed the biggest fish i have ever caught! i had a hour and 15 min. battle with a skate!thanks to scoot for taking the pics for me on this! look at the time in the bottom of the pic! and tim got some good vid of it!

then we head out to bear creek and dragula65000 show us the way in there and it was a very nice fishing spot that well all ways be on the list of fishing spot when i go to queens creek! i caught a bat ray then we head home for the day! the next day i head out to the sea view pier in North Topsail! i did not have that much luck but caught a 22 inch black tip shark and a very nice 16 inch flounder!

on monday i wanted to check out another old fishing spot from high school and landed a nice size bream! i had a great weekned that was full of fishing, friends, family and fun!
