title editing and post deletion

back to the sugg box - maybe these are available and I'm just no seeing the right buttons?:

• Title editing - I can go into edit-advanced on a post and change the title, but it doesn't seem to reflect in the thread lists, only in the title field when you open&view the post... Not sure if it eventually updated in the list or not, but would like to be able to fix title mistakes for my own posts. (Probably tricky given that the document is named with the title, as are the reply's.).
• Post Deletion - If I could delete my own post I could fix stuff like bad titles, wrong forum, etc... myself without bugging a moderator for help.
