I had off today and went to badin. The flathead bite was alittle slow. Only got 3 flats biggest at 22lbs. Also got several blues a 27lber and a46lber. That 46 was one heck of a fight. he was pulling out drag like it was nothing. Also got a gaint shell cracker, biggest I seen in person. It must of went 2 1/2 lbs. Nice morning on the water.

Not very deep. This time of year thier fat pigs because of the spawn out coming up. Most of the blues this time of year are shallow 10-25', thats where all the food is at.
Tomahawk,
I've seen your postings here and there for years. Impressive that you get on the cats so consistently. I've been fishing Badin for years but never spent much time on cats. Any suggestions on where are how to find them? Thanks
