Hi Guys, I am looking for a reputable mechanic at or near Carolina Beach that can service my Carolina Skiff when needed. I am currently having trouble with my navigation lights, neither the bow light or anchor light will come on and I've checked everything I know to check. Thanks
Not sure what he sent you, but one that bit me a few times is you can have voltage, but not amps. Minor corrosion will keep the lights from being lit.
I am betting on a bad switch or bad ground.
Yes, sorry I should have updated. One of the member's here (broncotwisterjim) sent me a couple names via PM. He gave me a name of someone near Carolina Beach and also near my home in Winston-Salem. I ended up taking the boat to one of his recommendations, Belew Wake Marine in Stokesdale. The lights were a result of a bad circuit breaker and I had the mechanic add a couple courtesy lights while it was there. He provided a quick turn around and was very reasonable. Thanks to all that helped.
