Yeah that will happen when you have it on a long leash and try to walk it home like a pet dog. Wasn't there a kayak named after that tortured paddle. Oh yeah the Dumper I think.

I have been told my paddling path to knowledge will come to me on different waters from the Great Wise Man & Fishing Machine of Wilkes county. The grasshopper must walk a different path to learning the ways of the river before being given the golden lure and sent on his journey to river bliss.

Wind, waves, 40 foot depth and a ticked off 4 pound spot on the end of 20 foot of rope equals flipped yak. Twice! However our friendly Fish Fiend got the last word in as I fileted that rascal into nuggets.

There is a lesson to be learned from fish fiends fight with the mean spirited spot I believe. The spot took advantage of the weather conditions and the stringer being attached to the side of the kayak. Also he had a family member caught by a famous Dr H that posted pictures with out his consent on a forum and was looking for revenge now that his family member has a fear that he is being singled out and targeted again by the Red X Anglers.

Yeah, it is hard to forget a good one like this Gene. I wouldn't worry about it since I'm getting into river fishing I'm pretty sure that something will happen to be talked about.

I do have a picture of that family member, which could have eaten Gene's fine fish. I'm thinking one or two (hundred) of you may have heard about it or seen it.

Think half a rubber worm. On a weird looking jig head. However I'm pretty sure those river fish ain't too picky....the Ned is Raymond Van Dam's secret weapon. Or at least it was a secret....
